SUMMARY:Sunshine on Leith
DESCRIPTION:Elgin Musical Theatre (previously Elgin Operatic Society) will be performing Sunshine on Leith between March 1st and 4th\, 2023. Wednesday to Saturday at 7.30pm\, with a Saturday matinee at 2pm. \n\n\n\nIn Sunshine on Leith\, Ally and his pal Davy struggle to adjust back to normal life after returning from a tour serving in Afghanistan. Ally’s marriage proposal is rejected\, and his childhood sweetheart\, a nurse disillusioned with the NHS\, moves to the USA to develop her career. Meanwhile\, Davy gets a job in a call center while his parents argue over his father’s infidelity. The musical explores the challenges of love\, family\, and friendship with humor and good heart.
