With hits like “The World Must Be Coming To An End” and “We’re the Singing Kettle\,” Artie became a beloved figure to Scottish children and their families. \n\n\n\nAfter taking a break from performing\, Artie returned with a new solo show\, Artie’s Tartan Tales. However\, after seven years of being recognized as “Artie from The Singing Kettle\,” he decided to bring back the iconic group and continue to entertain children across Scotland. \n\n\n\nArtie’s Halloween Singalong is the perfect opportunity for families to come together and enjoy a fun and interactive show. The Wild Escape Activity Session at Elgin Museum is the perfect adventure for young nature enthusiasts aged 7-11. \n\n\n\nDuring the session\, children will have the opportunity to explore Elgin Museum’s collection of animals and contribute to the Wild Escape artwork. Our fun nature-themed activity sessions offer a unique opportunity to learn about the fascinating world of animals while being creative and having fun. \n\n\n\nElgin Museum has around 36\,000 items in its collections\, ranging from fish fossils dating back over 450 million years to a 21st Century AD energy-saving light bulb. The collection covers everything in between and illustrates the development and history of life in Moray\, Scotland\, Britain\, and connections with the wider world. \n\n\n\nThe Wild Escape is a nationwide celebration of UK nature\, inspired by the wildlife found in museums and galleries. The project is made possible with support from Arts Council England’s National Lottery Project Grants\, Bloomberg Philanthropies\, Kusuma Trust\, Foyle Foundation\, and a group of generous individuals and trusts. \n\n\n\nTo participate in The Wild Escape Activity Session @ Elgin Museum\, children aged 7-11 must be accompanied by a responsible adult\, and a booking donation fee of £1.50 per child is required. This five-star family show is perfect for little ones\, and attendees are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite wizard\, dragon\, or fairy. Don’t miss this winter treat! \n\n\n\nThe McDougalls is a music and theatre company from Scotland that produces and tours interactive and engaging shows\, music\, and videos for children and their families. Their stage shows have become a hit with audiences across the UK\, packing major city center theaters\, concert halls\, arts centers\, and festivals. Many young audiences have their first taste of live theater at a McDougalls performance. Their productions have gained a popular reputation with children around the world\, with their albums\, digital music\, and online TV shows gaining fans in the USA\, Spain\, Greece\, and Australia. In addition to their popular stage shows\, their educational musicals for schools and nurseries are performed for 20\,000 pupils each year. These include “Go Global” and “Green Machine.” They are based in the West of Scotland\, and their work is created and performed by the award-winning duo Ruairidh Forde and Ryan Moir.
