DESCRIPTION:World renowned Johnny Lee Memphis\, the JLM band\, the Memphis Belles\, come together to produce this explosive and dynamic interpretation of Elvis live in concert. The Absolute Elvis Show. \nPaying homage to the king since 2004\, he is absolutely one of the best Elvis Tribute Artists in the business. His craft has led him to work in countries such as Canada\, USA\, China\, Australia\, Spain\, Norway\, Sweden\, Italy\, Germany\, and of course the Mecca for all Elvis Tribute Artists as he has performed directly across from Graceland in Memphis Tennessee USA. \nHis career has also led him to meet and work with people who knew Elvis personally. To quote two of Johnny’s favorite critiques about his performance. \n“Johnny is doing Elvis proud\, when you meet him it’s like you’ve met your new best friend just like it was with Elvis”  Charles Stones (elvis tour manager)  \n“Boy\, you sure brought back a lot of great memories for me with what you just done on that stage” Sam Thompson (Elvis’ bodyguard & close friend) \nJohnny has received many awards and accolades for his very accurate and sincere performances. In 2019 he was inducted into the ‘International Elvis Presley Tribute Artist hall of fame’ (a very prestigious award indeed). Prior to this Johnny took first place at the 2015 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest Preliminaries in Penticton BC Canada. This Qualification saw Johnny go on to become the only Scotsman to have made the top ten final at the Ultimate Elvis Contest in Memphis. All this on the same stage Elvis performed on all those years ago. Before that in 2014 Johnny won the European Elvis Presley Tribute Artist championships in Birmingham England. He says that although he has had great success in contests and events all around the world\, his greatest honour as an Elvis Tribute Artist\, was when he was invited to perform as part of the queens jubilee celebrations held in front of thousands of people on George Square Glasgow Scotland. This event was held in in the summer of 2012. The only Elvis Tribute Artist ever to do this with a live 10 piece band. \nIn 2010 Johnny represented Scotland at the Elvis World Cup Championships where the final was held at the St David’s hall in Cardiff Wales. One of the judges involved with this event was none other than close friend of Elvis\, Joe Esposito. Very much to Johnnys surprise he became World Cup Champion that day coming out on top through a very talented international competition. The media attention brought about from becoming a World Champion Elvis Tribute Artist seen him appear and perform on TV talk shows such as STV’s ‘The Hour’ show and BBC’s ‘The One’ show. As well as getting a mention that day on BBC and Sky news. From this success and TV exposure Johnny was invited to take his show on various prestigious Cruise ship liners in the Mediterranean and Baltic cruises. \nIn 2023 Johnny won the Ultimate Elvis Contest qualifier in Parkes Sydney Australia which will take him to memphis for a second time to compete for the World championship finals.

DESCRIPTION:Ladies & Gentleman! Gary Meikle is back yet again with another self-written\, self-deprecating show to leave you all short of breath again. Last year “Papa” as he is becoming more commonly known as\, because the 1st ever comedian worldwide without an agent (his choice) to be granted a full working visa for the USA and is keen to keep on showing why. \nGary’s tour this year promises to deliver\, he will reluctantly share his newer role in life being a kept man\, by the lady that kept him of course being his ever-growing smarter granddaughter\, Gracie. Who intelligently but more essentially rips the piss out of her Papa daily. A few stories to note are when she blatantly points out that he’s got “moobs”. \nShe also embarrasses him by telling the truth about his tattoos to a stranger that he is trying to impress. She explains in detail how her Papa isn’t THAT famous and how she calls him a bad name without meaning it. There are literally to many Gracie and Papa stories to cover but as usual Gary will go of on tangents and delve into the workings of his on mind. He will tackle subjects such as: rejection issues of men and women\, what it was like being a 14-year-old hormonal boy\, how it is ok for men to be overtly feminine now\, cold showers\, mosquitoes on holiday and much more. \nIf you can guarantee one thing from Gary it is that he will work\, his 5’8 ass off to make sure everyone that sees him live wants to come back for more. Your laughter makes up for the rejection he suffered in his earlier years\, and he will thank you all individually if you choose to come along to his meet and greet\, pre-show that he will be doing at every single show again. \n  Love\, Gary X
